Of old classmates cherubic
Whose love has been angelic.

This reconnection is hypnotic
It is almost telepathic
The conversation anachronistic
Four decades gap galactic
Filled in four minutes dynamic.

Old friends are Soul’s tonic,
Never to be parted with, like classics.
Or old brooms, whatever the logic,
Like Old wine, vintage stuff exotic!
